Bombana Macau
I ate at Bombana Macau on one of the Macau trips hosted by Galaxy Macau I had back in March. Have always heard comments comparing their Macau outpost (which has one Michelin star, by the way) to their “mothership” restaurant in Hong Kong (which has 3) so I am glad to try this for the first time.

Pre-Flight Treat
There’s no words more comforting when Chef Bombana dropped by our table and said he would take good care of us, especially during the white truffles season and when you knew he's a man of his word. I was excited to be able to join some other friends for a dinner tasting at Chef Bombana's Otto e Mezzo restaurant late last month, on the very evening I flew out to London for a week - that's the way to start off the holiday with a sumptuous feast.

A good take - CIAK in the Kitchen
Last Monday evening after attending our friend's new store opening in Central, we walked down the steep Wyndham Street thinking where we should go for a quick bite nearby. I then suddenly remembered this new restaurant in Landmark that we have yet tried, and I was surprised they actually got a table available even at last minute...

Not (just) about wine and dine: my evening with Krug
An American author once wrote in her book about cooking, that “one of the delights of life is eating with friends, second to that is talking about eating. And, for an unsurpassed double whammy, there is talking about eating while you are eating with friends.” I was lucky to have exactly such an experience last week in an event by invitation with a group of food lunatics, courtesy of friends from WOM Guide.
I guess if there’s one invitation that I can never afford to turn down, that would be it – a Friday dinner at a Michelin 3-starred restaurant featuring wines from one of the most prestigious champagne houses in the entire world, especially the restaurant I am talking about here is my favorite 8 1/2 Otto e Mezzo Bombana, and the champagne house is none other than the glorious Maison Krug.
