Last Sunday I was in Fish & Meat in Central to try out their new Sunday brunch menu. They were one of a few new restaurants in town opened late last year riding on this farm-to-house cuisine trend and it's been quite a success, judging from the almost unanimously positive feedback I got from those who have been here.

Comfort chic at Harlan G's new restaurant
Before Christmas, I visited the newly opened Comfort by Harlan Goldstein, sitting in one of the buildings top of Lan Kwai Fong, at the invitation of their PR firm. (it's a long belated post, I know)

A good take - CIAK in the Kitchen
Last Monday evening after attending our friend's new store opening in Central, we walked down the steep Wyndham Street thinking where we should go for a quick bite nearby. I then suddenly remembered this new restaurant in Landmark that we have yet tried, and I was surprised they actually got a table available even at last minute...

Serge et le Phoque - a decent restaurant with a funny name
Looking to indulge in excessive traditional Chinese food as we celebrate the Lunar New Year, we were looking for a casual western place for dinner a few days before the long holidays for a change. I suddenly remembered this bistro in Wanchai that everyone's been talking about a few months ago, so I called and made a last minute reservation.
